Come say hi to my business card holder

This thread is for my fancy card holder as shown in the pic. I opened it again last night while I was sitting quiet and had a recollection of the relationships I’ve built over the past few months, with a very complicated feeling. I found my sources were predominantly from the following firms (no middle or back office involved, titles ranged from VPs to Partners. Again, I don’t network with below):
GS(NY)
GS (Regional)
MS(NY)
BAML(Regional)
Greenhill(NY)
Bain Capital
GTCR
Houlihan Lokey
Stifel Nicolaus Weisel
SRR

Evaluate the list for me, please. How far am I from reaching out to the top guns in the industry, given my current net of contacts? How should I add more prestige to this list?

Thanks for hiding your face

I thought this day would never come where you got an SB from me and I agreed with you.

The answer to your question is 1) network 2) get involved 3) beef up your resume 4) repeat -happypantsmcgee WSO is not your personal search function.

There's always that one thread that pushes a successful troll from that "I can't even tell if they're trolling or just retarded" level, to that "yup, they're a troll" level. I feel like this is her's/ his. Kinda like how BeenPrepping blew it towards the end of his career b4 being banned, lmao.

GBS

Yeah I really can't tell if she's trolling or not. I told Patrick to look into this person and ban him/her if they're trolling, but he hasn't yet. So either patrick has been too busy or this person is NOT a troll. The latter would be frightening indeed.

OP, if you don't have relevant banking or PE experience, you're not going to get into Bain Capital or GTCR regardless of how much networking you do. Both those firms are top-notch, sending virtually 100% of their associates to HBS and Stanford GSB. I personally think networking for buyside is very overrated. For sell-side HR though, i hear that goldman's NYC office is looking for an asian female to appease demands from their dorky bald jewish bankers.

+1 I'd rather be labeled as frightening instead of a troll cause I embrace the truth. Also, no diss on jews, please. I thought you were a jew. That's the candidate pool for my future husband.

Typical weak female behavior. Cain't survive on her own so she submit to someone that will guarantee her survival.

Awful, just awful. No class, no honor, no dignity.
