Health Care MBA
I've heard a little bit about Health Care specific MBA programs. I'm currently in the process of doing my own research but I would appreciate if someone that may have been through it may be able to provide some color with respect to the degree. Would it be worth pursuing? Is it well-respected? Is it really more valuable than a traditional MBA?

And would this program typically be geared toward someone with a medical background looking to transition to the business side, or the opposite?

The Wharton one is good, too. You even hvae to interview separate for it (meaning, in addition to the regular admissions interview you have to do).

i heard duke has one of the best for healthcare...
I know a guy who did the MBA / MPH at Haas. Haas is a top school and he ended up at McKinsey so I would rank that high among options.

He had an undergrad degree in biology or microbiology and previously worked in something research oriented but he wasn't a doctor or anything.
