I would go for a tragedy. With this in mind, I would follow around a random analyst, show him sweating bullets over finishing a model in Excel and some PowerPoint documents.

It would be important to show him furiously typing with camera shots directly at his hands and then back at his contorted face, with periodic shots of the clock. The camera would need to pan around to a mostly empty office at ungodly hours. The point would be to show how insanely pressured he feels over immensely unimportant things.

Maybe throw in a few scenes of his former college friends having a great time without him at parties or bars or whatever. Probably throw in an office bathroom masturbation scene to highlight his loneliness and lack of sex life.

Then, cut to the meeting with the client where the book he slaved over never even gets opened.
