Please describe the interview / hiring process.
I received an E-mail requesting an in person interview about 2 days after I had applied through a 3rd party job search engine. I met with one of the financial consultants one-on-one. The interview was light; basically he just wanted to determine communication competency and establish my interest in becoming a financial advisor. He asked me if I had interviewed anywhere else, and although I had received interview requests from other companies, this was the first one I had actually accepted. He told me to go out and interview elsewhere to determine that AXA was a good fit for me, and if so to reach out to him to come back in for a second interview. After asking a few questions, I gave him a business plan that I had put together. He was extremely impressed and instantly brought me upstairs to fill out a background check waiver. Once my background check was cleared (took about 2 weeks) I was invited back in for a second interview. Pretty much just to review my business plan and go over any questions I had more in depth. He made a couple suggestions towards specifics in the business plan and advised I tweak it up a little bit before coming in for a third interview with him and his partner. I related well to both guys, building was brand new and state of the art.
