Investment Banking Summer Analyst

I surpassed the first round of the interview process since I had a referral into the Investment Banking Program. I went directly to a Superday which was at the Bank of America Tower in Manhattan. I had three interviews, two of which were two on one and one of which was one on one. I was asked a combination of fit and technical questions. The fit questions always started with why I wanted to do investment banking and why I wanted to work at the firm. The technical questions that I got were split into two types. I had one interview that went very in detail on DCF. He asked me to walk him through a DCF and then stopped me along the way to ask follow ups such as why I started from tax-effected EBIT and how I would calculate WACC etc. The other technical interview I had covered a lot of M&A specific question regarding what situations a target would be trading at below or above a takeover bid. After receiving my offer I also had a series of group interviews in order to get placed.
