FX Forwards Summer Analyst

I was fast tracked to the final round summer analyst interviews after winning a place on their spring week program. This involved an online application alongside a numerical and verbal test, a thirty minute telephone competency interview and an assessment centre. At the assessment centre there were two competency interviews and a group exercise, where we were given a list of daily tasks an analyst in IBD may face and had to prioritise them. All 150 who gained a place on the spring program were guaranteed a place at a fast track assessment centre in their chosen area. Before attending the spring week, a credit check and criminal records check was completed. For trading, your CV was sent round to all desks who said they wanted to take an intern and those who liked your CV interviewed you. The minimum was three interviews, the highest was seven, I had five. In this particular interview, my interview followed the precise script while adding in his own brainteaser.
