You first fill out online application, which also requires you to complete 3 short questions. Questions range from: How does Barcap differentiate itself from its competitors to What skills and qualities can you bring to this division? Then I sat a numerical test which upon completion they tell you whether you failed it or not. If you haven't you then are required to do a verbal reasoning test.

My application after this was under review for nearly 2 months before I received a reply from Barcap telling me am through to first round telephone interview. Interviewer was nice, from HR and was mostly asked motivational and competency questions. He seemed he was a bit tired but conversation was easy going. Then took 2 weeks to hear back whether I was through or not.
