Interview
It is an interesting hiring process. There are 3 rounds of increasing difficulty phone interviews and then an onsite which I haven't done yet.
Interview Questions
As I stated in the previous section, it first began with behavioral questions, I don't think that needs much explanation. Then was a extremely short and simple mental math section:
Mental Math Problem 1: 1/2 * 1/3
Mental Math Problem 2: 1/2 + 1/3
Mental Math Problem 3: 26 * 17
After the mental math was an expected value game of dice rolls.
The first asked the expected value of a six sided dice roll, and then after you solve that one you get asked the expected value of the same game but with one optional reroll allowed.
After the dice game was some card probability involving the probability that the third card drawn lies between the first two, and some betting strategy.
Lastly, there was a brainteaser involving the number of windows in the Empire State Building.

Interview
Got a phone interview after applying. (Target)
Went through my background and CV with behavioural questions
Then asked a series of math questions and brain teasers
Interview Questions
The most difficult questions were probably the brain teasers. there were no technical questions asked but alot of tough brain teasers to do with expected value, conditional probability with coin flips etc.
On top of that, there were also alot of math questions testing your mental arithmetic, so you will need to be well prepared for that. Furthermore, you will also need to be prepared to answer how your quantitative background relates to the firm and how you will be able to add value to the firm.

Interview
Applied through my university's online portal. Heard back about 1-2 months later that I had an on-campus interview.
Interview Questions
"You have a single stack of pennies that stacks to the top of the Empire State Building. Can that stack of pennies fit in this room?" I tried using estimated values for everything to compare formulas, which ended up becoming more confusing for myself than it needed to be. In reality, the trader explained to me that the solution was best solved without any math (will explain below). Was also asked some typical S&T math questions, such as square root of 500. A lot of the interview was non-technical, and I was even asked to estimate the likelihood of certain political events occurring.

1 on 1 Interview
Interview
It was a pretty standard interview, though I thought the interviewer wasn't the nicest person (whether this was deliberate to see how I fare under stress or unintentional, I do not know). Got asked the typical 2x2 in your head, a confidence interval question, some other math questions involving EV, estimation.
Interview Questions
Give me a 95% confidence interval for the distance between Las Angeles and New York City. 24*76 in your head. Estimate how many gallons of beer would fill this interview room. Now price an option out of that, based on how precise you think your measure was.
I estimated distance of New York from east to west, extrapolated from that data, then gave a crude estimate based on how many states were in between New York and California.

Phone Interview
Interview
I had a phone interview, where they go through initial process and explain what Bluefin Trading is and what they do. This is followed with behavioral and they try to find out why you want the job. From there a few technical questions asked.Next part was questions for them.
Interview Questions
I had a difficulty with one of the brainteasers. Important to review different brainteasers from probability to rate questions for this interview.
