Investment Banking Analyst

Come from a target school. BMO posted on the Career Center website and I did a resume drop through there. Had a first round interview with a Director and MD. The questions were more behavioral than I was expecting, although the Director (from Healthcare) did ask me a few technical questions about the space due to my experience with Healthcare. Got a superday in NYC after the first round interview and had four interviews with Directors and above. I thought they did a nice job of coordinating their interview strategy. Everyone had a specific role in interviewing me and I felt like I wasn't being asked the same questions over and over. Really nice people and you can see that they are looking to grow. There were some technical questions but they weren't ludicrously tough and very manageable for anyone who is serious about IB. They focused more on fit. I think BMO is a nice fit for people looking to get good experience and learn a lot, be part of a growing culture etc. but probably not a great fit if you are obsessed with prestiige.
