The interview for first round is a skype meeting for 30 min where it's mainly about stock pitch. Then it has 3.5 hours one-on-one interview on site.
Interview Questions
They asked a lot about the data of the stock pitch you mentioned so be well prepared for all the data especially they cared about valuation. Also, you would better prepare for at least 2-3 stocks because some of them asked for more than one stocks. For the stock you are pitching, some will go for very technical questions about the business so it's important to know the real business and the terms and understand like a manager of the company. The fitting part interview is relatively standard and just be yourself.

Applied to posting through on campus recruiting. They then reached out to me and for a phone interview. Then super day.
Interview Questions

Why would you invest in a company? What company would you invest in right now (cue stock pitch) - then questions specific to the stock pitch: how does the company compare to the competition, does it have a moat, what happened during the '08 recession, why do you believe the financials will behave like that...

Interview
First round screen with an Analyst. Lasted about an hour with some rather difficult behavioral and technical questions.
Interview Questions
Started with an initial phone interview where the topics included what my background was, why I was interested in joining Brandes, my interest in capital markets. There were a few fit questions on calculating free cash flow and putting together a discounted cash flow statement (also asked about different ways to calculate terminal value. After the phone interview I was called back and told they were going to put me in the backup pile, but luckily someone dropped out and they decided to bring me into the second round.

Interview
First round screen with an Analyst. Lasted about an hour with some rather difficult behavioral and technical questions.
Interview Questions
Interviewer asked the 3 things you liked most about each of your jobs, and then 3 things you disliked about each one. A lot of questions made to throw you off balance on simple behavioral one. When they ask for you weaknesses, give a real answer or they'll call you out on it. After the behavioral had a few technical valuation questions followed by a brief stock pitch. The stock pitch make sure you know the company inside out and especially the technicals as they will drill you on technicals more than you would expect from a first round screen.

Applied through campus recruiting website and was selected for a first round interview at the career center. Was invited to fly to San Diego to meet the rest of the team. There were a few case studies about how to value different businesses, as well as a written case assignment, and a written accounting test.
Interview Questions

How do you go about looking for ideas to invest in?

Interview
Had a phone interview. Very basic questions about the three financial statements and how they linked. Was also asked to explain how to do a DCF and also a few value investing questions (e.g. how could a scrap car be worth something - by being sold for parts). Only had one interview, probably because I made a mistake on one of the financial statement questions. No resume/fit questions.

I thought they were very professional in every way. Very prompt to respond to emails and phoned on time.
Interview Questions
