Interview
Applied online through company website, was then invited to a first round phone interview, and then final round super day that consisted of a case and 2 behavioral.
Interview Questions
Case Interview was a Q&A style one where I was asked why bank was giving a $10MM loan to a regional healthcare provider. Interviewer asked for many different reasons, but expanded on my merger/acquisition reason, and proceeded to ask me what I thought benefits and risks of that reason might be, as well as how to mitigate those risks. Was also asked why bank might give a client a loan with interest rate below breakeven. Afterwards, was asked to evaluate 3 different companies based off their financial statements and pick which one to invest in, and why based off the numbers.

Interview
After applying, the HR in New York has reached out to me with a 30 min phone interview regarding why trading and why capital one. Two weeks later, I was scheduled another 30 min phone interview with the Head of Trading. Another week later, HR reached out and I've been told that I was invited to the New Orleans office for a superday interview. They paid for the hotel, airline ticket, and other expenses (food, transportation, checked baggage). The superday consists of six 30-min interviews with three traders, an ops associate, Head of Trading, Sales, Research, and finally a behavioral interview with an internal management consultant (video interview).
Interview Questions
Honestly, the superday is more about fit rather than technical. Also given the fact, I had novice experiences trading before in which I was managing X amount of funds from investors (think family, friends, colleagues, and etc.) The Head of Trading had already tested my technicals before offering me the chance to come down to the NO office. So I guess the only technical questions I was asked was about the commodity market especially gas. The firm has decent exposure in the energy sectors. So if any of you guys have an interview and want to show the hiring managers that you've done your homework on the firm, make sure to mention the energy aspect. They also have commodities trading desks in NYC.

Interview
My process began with an HR screen, then another phone interview with an analyst. We discussed my background, a little bit of technical and background on the industry. Very positive and simple first interview. I then had another interview with the MD, where I was asked similar questions, and to pitch a stock. Then, I went in and interviewed with the same analyst, the MD, and another junior. All in all a very simple process, that was more oriented towards my knowledge of the industry and my background, as opposed to fit. After the interviews, I had a phone in behavioral interview with a fourth analyst.
Interview Questions
I was asked a decent amount about how I would value specific companies in the industry. What are the best methodologies, what are the benefits and drawbacks of each methodology. What are specific metrics that are used in the industry to assess performance, and what does each one tell you? I was also asked about specific experience with excel, as far as what are some advanced functions I am comfortable with, etc.
The Behavorial interview was simple. They ask you three questions, and then want you to discuss them based on the situation, the action you took, and the results of your actions. I was asked a situation where I avoided something that could have turned out badly. To describe a situation where I had to satisfy multiple different parties at once, and a situation where I was unprepared and adjusted to a problem. Simple behavioral stuff.

The most difficult question of the interview was to explain how I would go about valuing a small oil drilling company and projecting their future performance.
