Investment Banking Associate

I applied through the Credit Suisse Associate Venture Program. The program targets non-traditional candiates (no summer internships, part time b-school, law school students). My group consisted mostly of NYU Stern Part time students and Columbia J-Term Students. The first round consisted of two interviews at Credit Suisse's offices. There were two more rounds that followed. First, we spent a day speed networking, and hearing presentations about CS. We were also given a case study. In between, we had to rank our preference of groups (e.g. industrials, sponsors etc.) and prepare a presentation on the case study. The super day consisted of a presentation to a panel of bankers from groups with openings, followed by interviews from two people in each of our preferred groups (if possible).
