Please describe the interview / hiring process.
HR contacted me by phone after fishing my resume from my school's career services database. The woman from HR invited me to an on campus info session and also scheduled a phone interview for the morning of the info session. The phone interview was fairly basic, just walked through my resume. An econometrics project was in the wheelhouse of my interviewer, so we were able to briefly discuss the model's function forms and it's weaknesses.

Afterwards HR called back and wanted to schedule an in person interview, so going into the evening's info session I was fairly confident. I made an attempt to speak to everyone, and ask a balance of market and lifestyle questions. I was the last to leave the room, but was not nearly the most eager one there.

The next day we had a 2 on 1 interview, which was again mostly fit and walking through my resume. There was some very easy mental math, and then I was asked to speak with the MD of the business 1 on 1. At this point we were both very informal, and the tone shifted from 'prove yourself' to 'when you come work for us, we will do XYZ'

Soon enough I got a phone offer, and few weeks later got my drug screen and background check squared away.
