Please describe the interview / hiring process.
I networked with alums, which I believe was critical in moving forward in the process, although not enough,to get the job outright. I applied through an on campus recruiting website and GEs website. A few eeks later I was contacted for a phone interview with a recruiter. This was high level questions like "why GE? Why this position? Do you have experience modeling data/excel skills? What is your finance experience?" Then I did a second round phone interview with the director of the Associate program and her colleague. This was the same questions as the first round but with added fit questions and more detailed discussion abou the actual job. Finally I went on site to a super day. There were about 15 candidates, we each had 5 one-on-one interviews. Two were case questions about a potential energy investment, one was digging deep into my modeling/data analytical skills, and the other two were behavior and easy chit chat.
