IBD Strats Analyst

Received an email out of the blue asking me to set up a time for a set of back to back phone interviews with 2 members of the team. Scheduled them for the following week. First interview was mainly technical (probability, brain teasers) with a few questions about my background. Second interview was more of a conversation with a few corporate finance questions thrown in. I would later find out the second person is who I would have been replacing.

Received an email 3 days letter asking me to set up another round of interviews with the other 2 members of the team (it was only a four person team). Followed the same format as my original set of interviews - first was mainly technical, second primarily behavioral.

Heard back 2 days later asking me to set up a date when I could come in to the office for more interviews. This was a Thursday, and I went to the office the following Monday. Had 9 scheduled interviews but only went through with 8 (someone ended up having a call). Interviewed again with the 3 people who would be remaining on the team, as well as members of other similar teams. The more junior employees focused on technical questions, while senior employees asked behavioral/fit questions.
