Operations Analyst

VP from Goldman Sachs came to talk to student organization at my university. After having a conversation with her she put me in contact with a recruiter. I was invited to an "experienced hires" office networking event, which was a combination meet and greet/resume drop. Was invited to an in-person interview for Loan Operations a few weeks later with two members of the division. Interviewers really made no attempt to get to know me on a personal level and only asked very generic fit questions (teamwork, greatest strength/weakness, etc). In between asking me questions they checked email on their phones. I drove a lengthy distance to this interview and was shuffled out after 30 minutes.

GS HR wants to know every school you've attended since high school, even if it was 10+ years ago They also want to know the specifics of your job titles and might request unofficial transcripts. They will ask you to amend and resubmit your resume.

Base is $45,000. No signing, annual bonus is possible. Relocation bonus if you aren't in the area is $1,000 to $7,500.
