Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Applied online then got called in for an interview. As it was for spring internship, there was only one round of interview (behavioural+Historical (so CV-based). The interviewer was really nice and friendly.

That was also my general impression of everyone at the office. Maybe a bit more relax compared to FO folks. It's Operations after all. GS prides themselves on their 'flat' culture. Sure there is still hierarchy but compared to another BB where I did my FO summer internship, it's true that theirs culture is a lot flatter. It means it feels a lot easier striking a conversation out of your rank. If you need help, it's also easier to reach out to people even if they didn't know you before.
