First was a introductory call with the HR, followed with a fair modeling test covered Real Estate proforma, brief writing on a press release. Interview
Applied online. Interview consisted of: 1) Phone Screen 2) Work Sample Submission 3) Technical Skype Interview and 4) In-Person Superday. Interviews got progressively more difficult throughout the process and were very technical towards the end. Technicals include a broad range of knowledge spanning finance, valuation, and real estate along with probability and statistics as well.
Interview Questions
Technical questions were by far the most difficult. Questions were pulled from several areas including mental math, brain teasers, real estate, finance, valuation, economics, and probability/statistics. There was also a submission of a work sample required which was another interview round and consisted of drafting a research report on a particular real estate market. The most difficult questions appeared on the Superday as several analysts interview you on both behavioral and technical questions within a short time.

Interview
Applied online through their graduate portal after having networked with their recruiter a couple of months prior. Recieved a confirmation through email about the next steps. Was told to do a market research write up (1-page) and send back the next day. Then had a Skype interview with 3 people, 1 VP and then 2 senior associates. Invited out to a super day a couple of days later.

Overall, the interview was very finance technical given the specific position and firm. However, the firm did stress that analysts typically pursue their CFA early on.
