Please describe the interview / hiring process.
I applied for the summer internship in Jane Street online. One day after I submitted my application, I received an email from HR saying that an initial interview is required. The interview is purely quantitative, consisting of mental maths and problem solving. Calculators or pens are not allowed to use throughout the process. Some simple mental maths questions were asked first, followed by more difficult questions about probability. I took about 15 minutes to answer all of the six questions and I confirmed with the interviewer that I got all of them correct.
