Working with KPMG on a previous assignment for my old company. The guy I worked with liked me and by con-incidence, when the position was available via LinkedIn, I reached out to him and it ended up being his group. HR reached out to be, and set me up for interviews within the week. Had telephone interview with the partner, and 1 on 1 with 2 Directors. Very informal and very cool. Lasted a while cause we ended up more about travelling and soccer than the actual job (i.e. I have a very specific skill set so I was lucky). Accepted offer and started the following month.
