Transactions & Restructuring Summer Internship

Initially, I saw a posting for this position on my career services page. After applying by submitting my resume and a cover letter, I was invited to attend an "Interview Pre-night". The pre-night was a typical networking event. It was organized fairly well, but the hollywood theme was a bit cheesy. At the end of the night there were raffles, so don't leave early. Someone who did leave early got picked for the raffle and they found out he wasn't there. Interview organization was done through career services, and consisted of a 45 minute 1-on-1 interview. Also, before your interview I sat in an area alone with someone I met from the networking event for 30 minutes, so going to the networking event made it much easier to talk to him. The people overall seemed to like their job, and spoke highly of it. They said they loved the work culture, and said that there is no "face-time". If you dont have work to do, you dont have to stay in the office.
