Please describe the interview / hiring process.
The interview process was pretty relaxed. I was expecting a more rigorous set of skills-related questions, but it turned out to be pretty relaxed over all. The first round interview was with a managing director. It was fairly conversational and like most IB interviews.
The second round interviews consisted of a dinner and drinks the night before. Interviews took place the next morning. Each interview was with two people--an MD/VP/Associate and an Analyst. Both asked questions. They seemed to work very hard to determine not only each candidate's aptitude and personality but also how the person would fit with their organization.
