Lumiere Capital is an investment management company focused on delivering long term capital appreciation. The company invests in deeply undervalued equity securities of companies that will benefit from the dynamic growth in Asian economies.

Our investment approach is based upon buying stocks of good quality businesses at a substantial discount to their intrinsic value, and holding them over the long term. Capital preservation is our top priority and we insist on having a large margin of safety before investing in any company – in short, if we believe a stock is worth a dollar, we will not pay more than fifty cents for it. Our focus is on achieving attractive returns over the long term while avoiding any permanent loss of capital – hence we invest without the use of leverage most of the time.

The company manages Lumiere Value Fund, as well as individual managed accounts. Our return objective is to double our clients’ money every four years. We eat our own cooking – the founders of Lumiere Capital have most of their net worth invested in Lumiere Value Fund. Lumiere Value Fund is structured as a Singapore-domiciled trust administered by DBS Trustee Ltd. All fund assets are held and safeguarded within the Trust.

Lumiere Capital invests in stocks listed on major Asian exchanges and is based in Singapore.
