Summer Analyst, Global Capital Markets

Dropped resume through campus career site and had informational phone call with an Analyst from the group; 30 minute 1st-round phone interview with Associate and MD; followed at the end of the week with Superday consisting of 6, one-on-one 20 minute interviews with positions between VP and MD level from around the Global Capital Markets group. First-round questions a mix of fit and both market-based ("where do you see the economy heading? pitch an investment idea") and corporate finance-type techinicals; heavy focus on capital structure and pros and cons of using equity v. debt. Superday also mix of fit and technical with technicals more focused on markets (fyi I was not a finance major with no finance experience so maybe not typical experience), a couple math brain-teasers.
