Interview
First round was a skype interview. Was asked basic technicals, how to value a private company, how I thought about risk, and why I didn't go back to my previous firm.
Interview Questions
Most difficult question was a mini-case study on two firms. One was a fishing company, the other was tech. The fishing company had steady contracts and the tech company needed to fight for customers, but the tech company had higher growth. I was asked which company was riskier and why. Also, they didn't give me the information upfront - I had to ask them for it. Overall, pretty fair question that tested my ability to think about risk and ask intelligent questions. Not a very difficult question overall IMO.
