The number you see in the middle of the doughnut pie chart is the simple average of these scores. If you hover over the various sections of the donut, you will see the % breakdown of each score given.

The percentile score in the title is calculated across the entire Company Database and uses an adjusted score based on Bayesian Estimates (to account for companies that have few interview insights). Simply put, as a company gets more reviews, the confidence of a "true score" increases so it is pulled closer to its simple average and away from the average of the entire dataset.

Interview
I got a call for interviewing for a Stock Broker position and while I am mostly looking for a salary based position, accepted to go (position is based on commission) as one of the firm's partners work with LatAm and Spanish clients (my native language).

Was greeted by a secretary and filled up a document with basic information. Then called in a room (pretty old, small, and even messy) for an interview with the firm's partner.

Basically I got no questions but "Are you willing to go hard?", "Do you want to make money?", "Do you understand the first 10 accounts are split with me (Senior partner)?" and "When can you start?".

On the other hand, I asked as many questions as I could think about (at that moment I was not interested in the position anymore, and used the interview to practice, etc..) until the point of being told how they really work ("very on the limit"). As an example, they charge 3% in and 2% out on commissions per trade. I was supposed to get my own leads from the library and internet resources.

After over an hour of asking question to the senior partner and finishing the interview, she left without saying a word, not very politely and never answered the follow up email (saying no to the job offer). She is there to "make money".

I have nothing against this type of firms, but it is not for me.
