Interview Experience (61%)

The Interview Experience is a score from 1 star (very negative) to 5 stars (very positive) generated based on the Interview Insights at this company.

The number you see in the middle of the doughnut pie chart is the simple average of these scores. If you hover over the various sections of the donut, you will see the % breakdown of each score given.

The percentile score in the title is calculated across the entire Company Database and uses an adjusted score based on Bayesian Estimates (to account for companies that have few interview insights). Simply put, as a company gets more reviews, the confidence of a "true score" increases so it is pulled closer to its simple average and away from the average of the entire dataset.

Interview
Received an email offering a written test, very much based on fitness and personality.
Following this round, I was offered a face to face interview, with 2 nterviewers. Involved more fitness questions, many questions regarding problem solving/ability to learn.
Academic tests involved very simplistic calculations under time pressure, easy to pass with a good grasp of simple math. Logic tests very similar, matching patterns and numerical challenges under time pressure (not SHL or Kenexa, much easier). Very informal.
Final round interview incorporated multiple interviewers, assessment techniques and a simulated trading exercise (in which they are looking for mindset opposed to actual profit gen).
Interview Questions
Q) If somebody is having a good day trading, would you be inclined to follow their strategy?
My A) No t unless I was convinced, as it would increase the risk of the desk if all traders took similar positions.
Their A) They would encourage young traders to follow seniors.

Interview
I got to them just by sending an email to HR department, asking if they were hiring people.

Once they gave me an OK to my resume and cover letter, I had three interviews with three different persons.

I was asked to make a numerical test (logical series, easy) and I was shown a chart where they asked me what I would do with the asset (to see your approach to the markets).

In this last question, be very conservative, they don't want aggressive traders.

First round finished, they called me back some weeks after, I had the final round with a numerical test (aprox. 50 sums and multiplications, two figure numbers, easy) and a call with someone from the board of the company. He will try to get you nervous about anything, control yourself and show him you are good at working with pressure.

I was called some weeks after by HR department, I had the job.

Environment at the office is good, young people working hard to try to make money everyday. Bosses incentive you to word harder and harder in order to get success.
Interview Questions
There were no unexpected questions or estrange brainteasers.

At first round, just numerical series (5 I think), very easy.
In the second round of the interview process, 50 pairs of numbers, where you had to double the first one and sum the second.

i.e.: 48,20 = (48 x 2) + 20 = 116
