Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Initial contact was by one of Baird's HR recruiters through LinkedIn. The phone interview consisted of typical questions such as: why Investment Banking, why Baird, why did you choose your school, in addition to technical questions such as walk me through what happens with a depreciation expense, what is the difference between I-banking and equity research, what are different methods of valuing a company, and a couple more. Overall, the interview was laid back and casual. Unfortunately, they were only brining in 2 people for a final-round interview for the Tampa office and they went with candidates with more IB background than what I had.
