What did the interview consist of?
Phone Interview
1 on 1 Interview
Please describe the interview / hiring process.
1st Phone Interview. 2 sessions with 1st 2 Analysts and 2nd with Analyst and HR. Very pushy and technical. Kept asking more and more difficult questions until I got something wrong.
Technical Questions. Knowledge about Rothschild Deals, Financial Literature, and Current Events.
2nd Final Round
In house numerical and verbal written tests. Interview with MD and Assosiate for which I had to prepare a 3 page PPT on a deal (M&A or Restructuring) of my choice.
Not pushy, friendly, not very technical. Far more about fit.
