The Stephens interview process is generally focused on fit. You won't get a lot of technical questions at any point in the process, but will likely get a few during Super Saturday.

The key is to be yourself, be hungry for a position and be prepared to explain why you want to work for Stephens. With a limited number of positions in NYC, they want people that will be good analysts in Little Rock, Dallas and Atlanta, which aren't necessarily traditional investment banking cities.

The process starts with a phone or on-campus interview. Sometimes Stephens follows up with a second phone interview. Super Saturday is the next (and final) step, which consists of a cocktail hour and dinner with senior bankers and drinks at a local bar with junior bankers and analysts on Friday night. Interview sessions begin fairly early on Saturday morning and last until early afternoon.

Stephens generally begins making offers the day after Super Saturday.
