There weren't any unexpected or very difficult questions per say. The interviewers dig in deep to your past experiences so be prepared to talk about them in depth, including the overall projects you worked on, what you specific contributions were, if you worked in teams and faced any conflicts.

Here are some other questions:
- what class have you enjoyed most in college and why?
- how do you deal with mundane job responsibilities?
- what do you like doing outside of school?

Pretty simple questions overall

Interview
Applied through school career services portal. Contacted for an interview about 2 weeks after. First interview was video chat interview with HR rep, completely behavioral (typical questions about leadership experience etc.). Second round was another video chat interview, this time with two associates at the firm. Went over resume and past internship experiences, same behavioral questions as before.
Interview Questions
Not any particularly difficult interview questions, most were fairly standard behavioral interview questions in the first round. I was asked about leadership experiences and a time when I had conflict with a team member. In the second round, I was asked to elaborate on my previous internship and research experiences. Interviewers were particularly interested about my econometric and data analysis experiences- I was questioned heavily about summer research projects and my comfortability with statistical software like STATA and SAS.

Interview
1st round HR screen on campus with an HR agent and an analyst. Asked about my research experience, teamwork, and past professional experience.

Received an e-mail the next day telling me to come in for a super day a week later. Brattle flies you out the night before and puts you up in a pretty nice hotel. Interviewed by 4 analysts/principals 1 on 1 and went to lunch with 2 young analysts. The lunch was a half-interview because they tried to sneak in some teamwork questions during the meal which was a little awkward.

One of the 1 on 1 interviews was an hour-long, generic business case, very minimal calculations and pretty much no feedback from interviewer. At the end, was given the option of choosing economic theory questions (asked about elasticity), regression questions, or graphs/chart reading questions.
Definitely one of the more academic econ consulting firms - many people leave for PhDs so they love talking about research, econometrics, and technical skills
Interview Questions
They really go into detail for econometrics and regressions. If you mention an original research paper be sure to be familiar with variables, methodology, problems, and results.

Interview
I applied on-campus. It took 2 weeks after I submit my application.
First round interview was on campus, one HR and one senior analyst came. Questions were very standard economic consulting, talking about experience with some behavioral questions. Within the same week I received an invitation to fly to their Cambridge Office for final round.

Final round consisted of one 1-hour case (financial statement related, not difficult at all), several interviews with associates, vp, and a lunch interview with the analysts. Questions were very similar to the first round. The overall experience was very positive.

It then took them almost a month to give the final decision.
Interview Questions
Talk about one of your quantitative research experience.
What other companies are you applying to (I feel this one a little awkward)
