Got an e-mail about this last week. Anyone know anyone in this program? It seems like they like to take kids from top schools, put them in their trainee program, and then the kids manage factory workers.
It's still sounds more interesting than what I'm doing now (MO at a MM).

EDIT
I'm still pretty gung ho on NYC finance, but I'm wondering what happens when/if I want to slow down the pace a bit later in life. What happens if I go to F500 and a recession like the 2008 blowout hits? How bad were the layoffs there?

My two cents about GE's Financial Management Program, the two-year, four-rotation program of General Electric.
The very first thing you must bear in mind about the GE FMP is that it’s about accounting. Forget investment banking, capital markets, private equity, or anything even only...
