1 Semester of Grades - Can I apply for SA positions?
I will be transferring to another school this fall and I would like to apply for SA positions next year. However, I will only have one semester worth of grades to show for and whatever GPA i obtain from then is what i will list on my resume. Do you think I will have any problems going through recruiting? I mean in determining who gets an interview do they just look at your resume and cover letter. Or do they also look at your transcript when making the decision?
Why are you only listing the new school's GPA? Surely a year+ of grades carries more weight than one semester? And if you're wanting to put the GPA from your new school, which I'm assuming is better than the old one, I would also imagine your previous GPA is at least above average (to have enabled you to transfer)?
Meph thanks. My transfer grades were decent but not banking level and so I would like to leave it off. The consensus from the other post I have read with similar issues is to only display your current school. However, I wanted to know if that still applies to my situation?
Oh okay, I'll leave that to someone else then, as I'd just be speculating.
