My manager and i were hosting a conference for our clients and towards the end we had a big dinner for everyone. After dinner and drinks, the CEO of our company comes up to me and my manager and says "I think these guys just want to go out and get laid" (they are farmers from a smallish country). Unfortunately I couldn't convince him to allow me to comp expenses to go to a strip club, so I didn't take them on the field trip.

@SirTradesaLot @Disjoint @Edmundo Braverman I'm sure they all have the best stories.

Thank you for the mention :) I won't go into too many details and will keep it PG-13 as I'd rather not compromise myself.

  1. My entire grad class was surprised I kept my job after the summer, I would drink like a fish - talk to the big dogs of our company slobbered drunk and yet still survived 2008. I was an idiot - and this was internal only as just the grad program...

  2. I had to eat USD 3K on my card, because my company decided to be more strict all of a sudden - that did not keep me in check, and I didn't learn from my mistake. I was stuck with a 2K bill a month later. After that I was very careful and shortly after I left the industry as what is the point of being a sales person in a big corporate bank if you have limits on your expenses (if you are bringing money that is...)?

  3. Re- women, @skinnayyy really? You wanted to expense hookers on your company's account? a. If any company allowed you to do this I wouldn't even want to get close to it. b. wtf? c. the entry to a stripjoint will never mentioned the name of the joint if you are really tight and will only pay entry and drinks for your clients.

Not that I have done it, but you always pay out of pocket for the girls (and boys?), and you just hope come bonus time it was worth it...

I have some pretty naughty stories, but that I can't share sadly
