2015 Bonuses D&A

Just had my annual review, made my full pro-rata bonus, 54% of base. Always nice to be validated, how's everyone else fairing so far? Hang in there, it's almost year end*. If you just need to vent about how many pitch books you built this year and how many 120 hour weeks you put in to afford a weekend trip with your girlfriend to Orlando and that blue pinstripe suit from Brooks Brothers you've been eyeing, we're all here for you.

*Unless you work in BB IBD in which case, sorry about all the F500 mergers that have been announced lately. You're screwed.

Ok these percentages don't mean much when you don't disclose a base.

One guy makes $80k base and gets a 50% bonus of $40k totalling $120k

Another guy makes $120k base and gets a 10% bonus of $12k totalling $132k.

Cost to company more or less the same in both cases but the first guy is made to feel all warm and fuzzy when in reality both their net worths are the same.

Please disclose a base or the Bentley ain't happening. Thanks.
