Sounds like you need to leave your "hell joseon" country and come to America where we have higher paying jobs, guns, and Donald Trump.

Laugh all you want, but there's a reason why every Asian and their mother wants to work finance in the states....money.

Of course, only come legally. Otherwise, trump will take care of you(you have to go back).

Graduate Research Econ usually is low salary... why turn down INSEAD? It's 1 year, and then you have a good shot at a real IB/trading role if you want $$. 710 GMAT cancels out your low GPA.

You're BOK experience would make you a natural fit for a Korean Won/Bond trader, you can read Lee Ju-yeol like a fiddle and trade on it. From there the sky's the limit. You'd be given base + a PNL, which is how you make $.

Also it's a change of scenery. Just moving somewhere new lets you leave all your shit half way around the world... food for thought.

Best of luck.

Admittedly I saw anecdotes of someone who went to Kellogg and ended up in the Netherlands despite being the best student there, or someone from the IE who ended up jobless only to get the same job she had prior to the MBA, et cetera..so I guessed I should bank on marketable skills instead of a general degree like the MBA. If you're right, I might think of going to the MBA again, but then there is the huge issue of tuition. I might try Columbia's Dong Bin Shin scholarship(since I'm Korean) but anyways...thank you.
