What is your essential go to app?
With the advance of technology, our lives today are much easier thanks to it. We can use Acorns as a way to invest our spare change, livescore to check on the latest sports results, Yelp to find out the review of a place and the list goes on.
Even paying our bills are much easier these days, all with the touch of a button on our phone.
Which is your go to app which you use everyday? (Not the generic WhatsApp/Mail app, but something which you think not everyone here would have heard of before)
Mine would be Flipboard because it is where all my latest updates from social media or news outlet are compressed into one magazine tho the ease of communicating with my peers on Slack for project discussion makes it a close second.
thanks i'll check flipboard out
bang bang shrimp are pretty good, but you can never go wrong with poke bowls or nachos.
oh, different kind of app, nevermind.
I'm more of a split an entree as an app kinda guy.
bro, yard house's specials are apps only, gotta go with the specials.
My most used app is pocket casts, I'm assuming most people know about it because it's in the top 15 paid apps on google play store right now, but this is the best podcast app I've used. It's very clean, easy to use, tons of features and never causes any issues. At the price of a cup of coffee, you can't beat it!
I am looking for a good podcast app.. Does it let you speed up the podcast playback?
Yeah, it lets you speed it up. Skip lengths of time with no sound automatically, auto download newest episodes, filter based on whatever you want, have a queue of podcasts, sleep timer, boost volume, etc. this app does it all. Can't recommend highly enough!
The 2014 coachella app still holds up
Headspace, Myfitnesspal, JEFIT and Citymapper.. oh and Uber. Ubers everywhere
Twitter, Uber, Feedly, Citymapper
+1 for Citymapper. Saved my ass in London and NYC
Other than the generic Uber, Facebook, Twitter, etc. apps, I really enjoy Strong. It's a great app for tracking progress in the gym.
GroupMe
Twitter. I always check it as soon as I wake up for any early morning newsflow
In no particular order:
GroupMe MyFitnessPal Spotify Dropbox
I'm a steady Mint user as well, but mostly on a laptop. The mobile version isn't as functional.
Grindr & Clash of Clans
Serious about one, joking about the other. Which is which? That's up for you to decide
Clan of Grindrs?
That's the GroupMe name for my Thursday night drinking buddies
Dude, seriously these app games are insane these days. I hadn't played a videogame since 2012, but then started playing madden mobile. Shits so addicting, it's all I do on the train now. It's like playing madden on PS2...
talk about deals

My shortlist: Chess.com GroupMe gStrings (instrument tuner) Metronome Beats
Throw in some music streaming & Google apps and that's about all I use.
Wunderlist Productive Soon Focus@Will
Bumble
thank you for this, surprised it took this long
I'd like to think that Bumble is a class above Tinder.
Youtube, banking, and email apps haha. My iphone 5s IOS hasn't been updated in 2 years so I had to put youtube.com as a bookmark app thing and now it works great. Also can play music while not using it unlike how it is now with the youtube app.

GCal runs my life. If it's not on my calendar, I'm not doing it.
i used to use fantastiCal but it stopped being so seamless between gcal, ical, and outlook. but so far, the only calendar app that was able to handle all 3, for a while.
asana/trello for non-deal projects
teamviewer/vpn/desktop connection app - this is so key
