Accenture MC graduate programme or Treasury Front Office at major global corporate
Hey everyone,
I am in a career dilemma here. I am currently 26, have good academic background in top 10 uk university and 2 years experience in Corporate Treasury.
At the moment i have 2 options:
Current job: Treasury Front Office at a subsidiary of a major corporate. Company had serious trouble during the crisis and shrinked significantly over the years, but has since recovered and received huge capital injection as parent company targeted us as the main growth driver for the future. In my 7months here, we had constant flow of good news in the company. Our Treasury team offers global interaction with colleagues around the world, excellent expansion potential and great exposure to many interesting work, i.e. bond issuance, special funding projects, M&A.
Downside:
1. No Formal Training at all
2. Location in remote industrial area
3. Career path remains unclear
Offer Accenture: Standard MC graduate programme to start late 2015
I had the offer almost a year ago, and at that time they were already filled for 2014 vacancies. If they had given me immediate start, it would have been easy for me to choose. I am not sure if it is worth starting again with other graduates given my age. But i guess my experience will help me to progress quicker than other graduates?
Which route sounds more promising over the long term?
Any starting point suggestions would be much appreciated!
