Just accepted an offer at a MM IB in Chicago as a SA. Offer came over email and in hard copy over mail and asked for acceptance to be mailed in. Offer was due 9/4, mailed in 8/27 but haven't heard back from HR. Am I being too touchy-feely looking for an acknowledgement or should I be worried it was lost in the mail or something of the like? Ultimately I want to make sure it's been received by explosion date. Would an email to recruiter or HR be too forward?

Chill out, man. In my experience, there is no receipt confirmation, but a short email to HR would be fine. Say something like "Hi HR, I am just checking in to confirm receipt of my signed offer letter. I look forward to joining Bank XYZ. Thank you for the opportunity. Best, thenaner".

Just email the recruiter to confirm. Also, send shit with registered mail when you want confirmation, or fedex. Don't tell me you relied upon the USPS for this did you????
