Accepting a Job Offer
The hiring manager just recently called me to tell me that i got the offer. He wants confirmation soon. Should I call or e-mail to verify that i will accept the offer? Thanks for any help.

Call. it will take 1 minute tops, and is probably higher regarded than an email.
Give them a call, it is the best way to ensure you make contact and you can thank them personally. You never know if an email gets to the right person or ends up in their junk folder.
Congratulations Bud.
do you really need an online forum to figure this one out?
Well Bud has been using this forum throughout the entire process. Welcome to Wallstreetoasis
congrats and yes, give him a call.
Accepting an offer formalities (Originally Posted: 11/01/2008)
Hi guys. When accepting a job offer, is there a general convention that one should follow? Should I e-mail all the interviewers who interviewed me and tell them I accepted the offer and look forward to working with them in the future? Should I call them instead? Will MDs be too busy nor care to receive this news or is informing HR just fine?
Thanks!
call the guy/girl who called to give you the offer...don't bother everybody else
Agree with xqtrack. Whoever extended you the offer (it is almost always by phone) should be the one you contact to accept. Some offer letters will also have instructions as to who to return a signed copy to and how long you have to accept.
