Advice on getting a job in Operations please

Hi guys, I am a rising senior and I am thinking about applying to Operations in big banks for a graduate role, just wondering what technical knowledge I should start learning and if there're any tips for a successful application? In addition, I am still uncertain about which region I should apply to. I am pursuing my bachelor degree in US, but my college is a non-target liberal arts college; while I have attended a target school for a one-year study abroad program in London, I've also had summer internship experience in UK. My third choice is Hong Kong, as I speak Mandarin as well as some Cantonese. Just wondering which location US, London or HK I might have the highest chance of breaking in? Thanks so much, any advice is highly appreciated.

I am not sure if I have what it takes for FO and I heard that Operations might be more suitable for girls, so I guess I will stay in Ops for some years and see what happens:)

Technical knowledge? Typing, printing, tying your shoes...not sure it gets more technical than that.

Under my tutelage, you will grow from boys to men. From men into gladiators. And from gladiators into SWANSONS.

lol. Itis just that I know about all the financial jargons but I am not sure if I should invest time to go beyond that, like learning LBO model etc. Would such knowledge be helpful? thanks:)
