Alexander from Liar's Poker

I finally read Liar's Poker and it was every bit as good as people say it is. One thing I was wondering is whether anybody here knows who the bond salesmen in NY, Alexander, is. The guy seems like one of the sharpest guys at Salomon and I was wondering if he might have started a hedge fund or some other investment vehicle considering the way he's described in the book. I know it's kind of random, but I would love any insight you guys have.
