Alumni Email Question
I emailed a banker at a BB to set up a time to talk over the phone about banking. The banker told me to call on Monday last week. I called but he never answered. I shot him an email the next day and he said he was busy on Monday but would call me Tuesday. However, he never called.
What's the appropriate next step? Should I send him another email. I don't want to seem like I am bothering him too much.
Thanks.
Be persistent and assertive but not aggressive.
Follow up beginning of this week. Say that you understand that he is very busy especially during the holidays and appreciate his time. And that you look forward to setting up a call or a meeting whenever he is available.
No response, get at him after a few weeks. People fade out during the holidays.
it'll be better if u set something up face to face and it will be harder for him to miss since you're making the commute. obviously, i don't know if ur coming from upstate, locally, depends i guess on ur distance.
i guess its time for ppl to start flying out to <abbr title="New York City
">nyc and staying in a hotel for a week while going to meetings. good luck."I don't know what the fuss is. My career is illustrious. My rep is impeccable. I'm not to be fucked with."
Thanks for the advice.
