Analyst in BB PB/PWM

Hey guys,

I was wondering what the career path for a BB PWM/PB analyst looks like. I've read that at the associate level, you are normally given 2 years to build a book which would generate revenue resulting in a similar salary to what you would earn in the first 2 years on a fixed salary at the bank.

Are the same expectations there for analysts? 2 years to build a book or you're out? Without an MBA, it would obviously be SIGNIFICANTLY more difficult to get UHNW individuals to even look at you, much less get them to trust you with their money.
