Any Private Equity firms (Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, Charlotte based maybe) Recruit at Vanderbilt?

Not going to lie, still kind of worried about not going to a target school, anyone know about PE or HF's that recruit straight out of undergrad for a 3.8+ student with good internships, EC's etc?

You sure have a good chance

You sure have a good chance with that GPA plus internships, EC's, and all the other goodies.
Also, how hard is the course load at Vandy?

They are notorious for grade

They are notorious for grade deflation, and I read somewhere that it is the third hardest work load in the country...I also feel kind of stupid now cause for my first semester I signed up for 18 credit hours (thats the limit for freshman) including like advanced calc, macro econ and writing seminar etc...

Writing Seminar sounds

Writing Seminar sounds brutal.

Brutal

Sounds like professor-assisted suicide to me, lol.

Hahaha third hardest

Hahaha third hardest workload? 30th, maybe. Uchicago, MIT, Cal Tech. No way Vandy even comes close.

theres no way its 30th.

theres no way its 30th. maybe not 3rd, id agree that more science/math oriented schools probably have more, but vanderbilt is well known for grade deflation and a tough workload goes along with that. it is probably top 15, somewhere around 10-12
