Anybody working as a Co-Founder in a Tech Startup?

Anybody else leave traditional finance to start a tech company?

I transitioned into tech almost 2 years ago and have done mostly contract work. Instead of joining an established company, I'm working on a tech startup with a former consultant. Wondering if anyone here has done something similar. About 4 months deep with a small angel round. We have started to make revenue.

Looking for advice on navigating the fundraising scene in NYC if anyone has done the rounds.
