Application Location - Does it change anything?
Hey guys I was just about to start sending off some application for 2012 SA positions and was wondering: Should I apply to say SF or any other city than NY? Would that "increase" my odds of getting an interview (assuming NY offices receive most applications) or are applications "pooled" and I should aim straight for NYC? I am coming from Canada so basically I'd be satisfied with pretty much any IBD experience in the US.
its all the same. more spots open in NY - more apps. less spots open in SF - less apps doesn't make a difference in competition.
