Applying for 09' Summer Positions
Hi Everyone,
When should one begin to apply for 09' SA positions? And how should one go about requesting Accelerated Interviews if going abroad in 09'?
I saw today that ML began accepting apps., but not sure about the other BBs.

Most BB has accelerated
Most BB has accelerated interviews for kids studying abroad in the spring semester. Just ask your career center about interview schedules. If I remember correctly they were sometime in November. For regular '09 SA recruiting start applying as soon as positions are posted on your school website or when banks start making summer analyst presentations. At my school this was around Dec/Jan time frame. Interviews being in February. So you have some time.

If you're going abroad in the spring, I recommend networking around October / November. Some places will accept resumes in January, so you should get your resume in front of poeple before then.

I guess they would rather have resumes go into the blackhole starting now, versus having 100k of them fly in January.
