    Entering final semester this September majoring in finance and <span class='keyword_link'><a href="/resources/skills/economics">econ</a></span> at semi target. experience include <span><a href="/guide/wso-internship-guide">summer internship</a></span> at a major <span><a href="/finance-dictionary/what-is-the-bulge-bracket-BB"><abbr>BB</abbr></a></span> <span><a href="/tag/energy-trading">energy trading</a></span> desk.  would love some information on any energy <span><a href="/finance-dictionary/trading-overview">trading</a></span> companies or utilities that are willing to recruit/train new traders. Other valuable inputs are always welcome.

Monty, I thought independent trading houses would be the highest in terms of compensation, especially with the Dodd-Frank coming into the picture, regulating BB and/or swap dealers, glad to hear your thoughts.

Anways, at this point, compensation is the least of my concerns, I am just interested in learning the craft with the goal of establishing myself a trader one day. How likely is it for Houston firms to hire grads from Canada?
