Approaching a well known PE firm with no junior team
I have a meeting with a MD at a well know Growth/PE fund (on their 5th or 6th fund with aggregate $2.5B raised).

I've gotten to know one of their partners somewhat and asked to catch up with him. I have a thesis they will need to start thinking about some generational shift and I know they added one MD recently who is younger than the rest to probably start this process.
I'd like to find the best way to proposition him that I could be a very strong first junior hire and they probably need to start thinking about this as they plan for their next couple funds.
Any thoughts or experience in this regard? By way of background I was an analyst at a VC/GE fund and now a 1st year associate at a MM fund.
